These new whiteboards can really make life a lot easier for students and teachers alike. Everything written on the whiteboard can be scanned and made into a PDF. Students could get a copy of the instructor's notes in electronic format.

Technology #9 voice recorder
A picture is worth a thousands words but I think there is a reason why I remember so many people carrying around those little digital voice recorders in college... a picture won't help you remember what the professor is talking about. These little gizmo's will.
Technology #8 Digital Picture Frame
After going a great field trip it would be fun for students to share their images with the class on a daily basis. With a digital picture frame students can upload their images and share them with the class.
Technology #7 Video Recorder
Often times students get sick or a group misses classes for another courses field trip. With a digitial recorder the class could be recorded and students could view it at home to make up for lost material.
Technology #6 Go to Meetings
Go to Meetings are a great way for teachers to collaborate together. They could be used for teachers to share teaching methods and instruction over the internet. A Go to Meeting is a computer based sessions that connects multiple users in different locations. It is similiar to instant messaging but the group has access to view another users screen so everyone sees the same thing at the same time.
Technology #5 Flash Drive
Sometimes taking home the laptop can become cumbersome and that is where flash drives really come in handy. When you need to work from home and don't want to tear down your school work station, just load your data into one of these and go. Just remember to bring it back with you.
Technology #4 Sony PS3
The Sony Playstation is no longer a video game machine, but a multi-fuctional device. It could take the place of a dvd player in the classroom and act as a source to connect to the internet.
